What if Medusa traveled around solving crimes and foiling a group of teenage hippies who were up to no good. "We would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for that meddling gorgon and her snakes!"
I tried doing a simplified drawing of the alien armor from District 9. I wanted to push it more; make it more Tartakovsky-esqe. Oh well. Maybe another night. Back to my toy rocket ships. I imagine I'll be drawing junk from that for a few days.
My left hand is playing Infinite Space. It's not the best game ever, certainly not the best space-RPG I've ever played; but I can be a space pirate & play it on my gameboy.
Aborted cat woman sketch. I went skating for the first time in 5 days. It feels like someone beat my thighs with my own skates. The Emerald City Comic Con was great. I bought a bunch of shit I don't need and some good comics. Talked to a lot of artists, a little closer to getting some of my own work done. Took a long time to decompress though. Mostly because of fucking daylight savings time and starting work at 7:30 Monday morning.
'Her hair and lips are as red as blood & twice as slick.'
I have no idea what that means.
Originally I had some Freudian-psycho-bullshit with her shadow being all evil, but it was gradually turning into a Disturbed album cover; and I don't need that kind of shit. Hell, if I threw a cross and some flames in she'd look a lot like Liz Sherman.
Na-na na na na na. Gettin' jiggy with it. Why? Cause I'm white; and that's about all I can handle. I won't be getting 'krunk' or 'ridin' dirty' anytime soon. I decided to just stick with what I know and draw the same girl, but standing the other way. ( And smoking a cigarette. :o )
A girl, with big eyes in her big head and a skinny little body. And she's a gypsy or witch or something. Maybe she's a dancer. Doesn't realy matter. I just draw what feels good to draw.
