Rough concept sketches for a character in Murdersaur: Jurassic Knife. I'm hoping I can get one of these at least developed each day this week and have the main cast ready to roll by Friday. then I can start doing pages. Next week I'll tackle the soldiers and their segment. Work is in swing.

The Wave

Compared to Iron Eagle, Top Gun looks like a Navy instruction film.

Anyway. This little snippet was inspired by a panel from Aptera, by Giannis Milonogiannis. I'm very interested in reading his work. It might take a trip to Zanadu to find it though, if I can find it at all in the states.

Warehouse

For boxes and underlings.

Being an underling guarding a warehouse is probably the worst job in the world. There's a 50% chance of being killed by some vigilante or your own evil boss. And the chances of being killed by your own evil boss is pretty high to begin with.

On roller skates! Yes, once again Kat & Soup brought their two favorite things to the table; Dinobots, and roller skates. Not quite the original Hugh Jackman-esq production number I dreamt up, but this is a sketch, not a finished piece.

Powergirlsan

Is dismayed with the size of her breasts.

This started as just a humorous warmup sketch. Then I realized, Powergirl and Japan hate each other. So I changed the face to be more anime. Maybe Japan built a giant robot with an itty-bitty titty ray on it or something; jealous of her voluminous gi-nourmous jiggly kickballs.

Holocost Ape

Made way for the mammals by pushing dinosaurs into volcanos.

Big thanks to Re-Animate Her for giving me the idea on this one. Wish her luck in Texas skating banked-track.

Mr. Freezaur survived the ice age, but aclimated to the sub-zero temperatures and now requires a cryo-suit to survive. Though, he was ultimately defeated by his greatest arch-enemy.

Elves?

Doesn't quite feel finished.

But it was just to practice using screentones. Which opened interesting possibilities for shading and coloring my stuff in the future.
