I feel slightly less unaccomplished now.

Splinter Cell: Harlow Ascendent
He's a cat; and he's got a job to do. Harlow, the wonder house-cat, with some splinter cell gear. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out he works for the office of secret intelligence while we're not at home. With his big, meaty, Brock Sampson-esque arms and knife.

Pistols Yo
Finalized art for the Pink Pistols championship shirt. Mostly final, still tweaking here and there. Also watched Batman: Gotham Knight while I worked and it was awesome.

Giant Pinup Robo!
Ok, so I scratched out the giant robot pinup, but decided to salvage the idea and draw a pinup inside a giant robot. Not as orriginal, but still fun. I started out drawing her with a short, military haircut, but figured "hey, she's supposed to be a pinup" so she got big tawdry hair. The most amazing thing was, this drawing only took 47 minutes. Even with all the weird angles, pose and perspective stuff.

Vapor Fist
Francisco Ruiz Velasco's design work is some of my favorite. In particular I love the characters he designed for Lone Wolf 2100.
One of my recuring favorites were those ever-expendable troops, the Vapor Fist. Poor guys, they probably had a worse survival rate than The Monarch's henchmen. They have those cool helmets with the weird camera eyes instead of a visor.

New Rollergirl Shirt
For the Pink Pistols Championship Bout. They totally won. Started with a more kiddie-styled drawing, then evolved it to a more adult-styled one at the Pistol's request. It'll probably take 1 or 2 more tries at this to get it finalized. Also coming up, new cruise-in for a bruisin' art and tattoo stuff.
And ferrets with cutlasses.
Household pinup pets?
Ok, so I kinda got distracted from the pinups. But these are still good practice. Yeah...I almost drew the fish with 3 eyes.

Pinup with a kitten
Day 2 of pinup week.
Though it's not filled in, that's a place holder in her hand for a kitten.

Jenny Craig, in Hell
Samurai would often make helmets with fearsome demon faces to frighten and intimidate their enemies. So, what kind of mask would a demon wear? Obviously, a happy face. :D
So the challenge tonight was to draw an armored demon super hero. I kinda abandoned the hero angle cause, lets be honest, Hellboy has that market cornered. I also wanted to make him totally tall. Like, all leg. He's got the Black Hole army insignia on his torso, which I thought was fitting considering he's a demon. And for no reason, the Marathon symbol on his arm.

Random night thoughts
A drunken carrot might sound funny, but what you don't know is: He's drinking carrot juice!Anyway. Tonight's challenge, draw a goth monster with a silver dagger and a vegetable guy drinking.
They should really take that dagger away from him. He'll only keep cutting himself.

It's a Walking Eye!
*Camera in the eye
I wanted to make a walking eye that was a little different. But they're really all the same.
*Shoots lasers and stuff
*Monkey-proof welding
*Silent stealth design excellent for reconnaissance applications
I wanted to make a walking eye that was a little different. But they're really all the same.

Yo Ho
Yo-ho Mike, we got a pirate. He had a bird, but I liked the peg-leg cat better.
Up next: Swashbuckling ferrets!
Up next: Swashbuckling ferrets!
He thought they said illegal alien.
Working on an alien monster. While it does look alien, it isn't much of a monster. Maybe I should have added a uni-brow and goatee. And had it holding a dead puppy.
He mostly comes out at night, mostly.

Copter Girl Brigade: Babes With Blades
1) DRAW A GIRL WITH A HELICOPTER COSTUME.
She's a helicopter valkyrie. Carrying the spear of Odin. Or something. I went with the traditional description of the raven-haired maiden who picked the fallen warriors off a battlefield with her spear and spirted them to Valhalla. As opposed to the more common depiction of a golden-haired norse goddess with a sword and shield.
2) TITLE IT: "COPTER GIRL BRIGADE: BABES WITH BLADES."
3) IN DESCRIPTION, PUT LINK TO THIS ACCOUNT.
4) GET OTHER PEOPLE TO JOIN "THE COPTER GIRL BRIGADE".
5) USE ALL CAPS (FOR MAXIMUM INTENSITY).
6) SHARKS AND ORCAS ARE THE ENEMY.

Goth Pirate
Trying to draw a goth pirate, I realized that goth has co-opted a lot of what used to be pirate. The plaid pantaloons, black puffy-shirt, ear rings and black eye shadow. The crew had to take away his sword, so he wouldn't keep cutting himself.

Making up for lost time
I was out and about Monday and Tuesday, and stuck at work all day Wednesday, so I didn't have time for a post. But here's a pinup girl. Fresh off the sketch pad.
Nothing special about this one.

Tea with Gnawm Chompsky
Today's goal:
1) Retro (1920-40) style
2) Monster, in this case, Man-shark.
3) Interior; Man-shark's sitting room.
My first effort was, terrible. This one is passibly better, but I mostly kept going with it because I thought the name "Gnawm Chompsky" was hilarious. And yes, he subscribes to Bite Magazine.2) Monster, in this case, Man-shark.
3) Interior; Man-shark's sitting room.
