Marathon: chicks with swordz

Today's drawing challenge was simple:
1) Draw a girl

2) Put a lot of armor on her arms and nowhere else but;

3) do not whore her out like a bikini-armor chick on a game cover.

I threw some Marathon symbols on her armor, despite that there were never any swords in Marathon. Though you did have some bitchin' power gauntlets.

Animal night. No, it's not a fox, and no, I don't watch Naruto. My first sketch ended up looking like a furry shark with legs. Not at all what I was going for. The second one, I was feeling creative on the shading. I think I'm going to do fur shadows like this from now on, it was actually a lot less complicated to think about.

Opening moves

One sketch a day, every day...Forever. Just a random picture of something I drew:

I'm not sure what the girl in the picture was doing, but she had her hands up. Maybe she's fighting the oppression of some invisible, perpendicular bars. She was wearing a wife-beater under her camisol, but over her shorts; which were over her animal-print leggings.
