Ultra Bear
Dance of Destruction!

Watched the first part in a video series featureing interviews with Tim Gunn about super hero costumes through the ages. They were talking about the redesign of Bat Woman and how he would have preferred to just see her orriginal costume get updated.
I tried to make it less sucky, even threw in some gothy inspired bits. I still don't know that I'd take a hero seriously if they're swinging a purse.

Cat Woman
Crawling about.

Aborted cat woman sketch. I went skating for the first time in 5 days. It feels like someone beat my thighs with my own skates. The Emerald City Comic Con was great. I bought a bunch of shit I don't need and some good comics. Talked to a lot of artists, a little closer to getting some of my own work done. Took a long time to decompress though. Mostly because of fucking daylight savings time and starting work at 7:30 Monday morning.
Anyway. Back in my post-work skate/draw routine.

Iron Woman
Watch out! That bitch got a knife!
Not really. She has repulsor gauntlets. And an Iron rolling pin.
Sketching and sketching. Iron Man starts turning into a pretty lady. It's gotten to a point where every sketch starts turning into a robot or a pinup girl. In this case, a robot pinup-girl. Anyway, I got the super kewl Iron Man part of my drawing done.

Tuesday's Actual Post
Catwoman!
I love Ed Brubaker's redesign. Much preferred to the old version. I know it's "classic" but I always hated the purple suit with thigh-high spike heels.
