Murdersaur: The Process

So, my second attempt at drawing a dinosaur spy with a gun. Very cartoony. (The first was so cartoony I erased it and reused the paper.) He is towering over the guy in bed, which is good, but the perspective of the room, the scale, the position of the guy in the bed, all wrong. Plus, I wanted more menace from Murdersaur. I mean, he's the goddamned Murdersaur.

Third attempt: More anatomically correct. He's standing more like a dinosaur, his arms are closer together, but the bed is too small and the perspective is still off. Plus it's impossible to draw anything good into his flak jacket and goggles from this angle. His neck is just too huge to add accessories to. Though I really like the teeth.

Attempt 4: A little more of a mix between #2 and #3. His expression is more of a sneer in this one. More detail in the goggles and vest. I like the tail better. His arms could be farther apart. The bed and room are in much better perspective, though still a little off. Really, the entire project is just built around this one joke. That he's a goddamned Tyrannosaur with a gun.
I can fix it while inking so he takes up more of the frame and maybe have his head overlap panel 1. Maybe shave down the nose a little bit. Shadows will have to be added in later in abundance.

American History Blech

Watching Ed Norton play a neo-nazi. He gets anally raped in the shower by other neo-nazis. You can never trust the fuckin' Nazis. Sketches of the the goddamned Joker. From The Batman. I'm not really a fan of the series or the designs, but I do like highly stylized art and the exagerations that come with the goddamned Joker's facial expression.
Like most sketch sessions, this one started off like crap with a terrible goddamn Batgirl picture. Then progressed to a clumsy Joker, and a slightly more refined Joker, then finally one I was happy with.
