Splinter Cell: Harlow Ascendent

He's a cat; and he's got a job to do. Harlow, the wonder house-cat, with some splinter cell gear. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out he works for the office of secret intelligence while we're not at home. With his big, meaty, Brock Sampson-esque arms and knife.

I feel slightly less unaccomplished now.

Pistols Yo

Finalized art for the Pink Pistols championship shirt. Mostly final, still tweaking here and there. Also watched Batman: Gotham Knight while I worked and it was awesome.

Make 'Em Laugh

Had to figure out a facial expression for an upcoming t-shirt. Lots of exuberance.

Giant Pinup Robo!

Ok, so I scratched out the giant robot pinup, but decided to salvage the idea and draw a pinup inside a giant robot. Not as orriginal, but still fun. I started out drawing her with a short, military haircut, but figured "hey, she's supposed to be a pinup" so she got big tawdry hair. The most amazing thing was, this drawing only took 47 minutes. Even with all the weird angles, pose and perspective stuff.

Vapor Fist

Francisco Ruiz Velasco's design work is some of my favorite. In particular I love the characters he designed for Lone Wolf 2100.
One of my recuring favorites were those ever-expendable troops, the Vapor Fist. Poor guys, they probably had a worse survival rate than The Monarch's henchmen. They have those cool helmets with the weird camera eyes instead of a visor.

Reading Stephen Silver's blog

Found a picture of a kid with a lizard. Good practice at any rate.

New Rollergirl Shirt

For the Pink Pistols Championship Bout. They totally won. Started with a more kiddie-styled drawing, then evolved it to a more adult-styled one at the Pistol's request. It'll probably take 1 or 2 more tries at this to get it finalized. Also coming up, new cruise-in for a bruisin' art and tattoo stuff.
And ferrets with cutlasses.
